Matthew Noyce

Matthew Noyce is Director, Client Markets and Chief Pricing Actuary for Swiss Re Life & Health Australia. He is responsible for the pricing of Swiss Re's retail and group business throughout Australia and New Zealand and has been involved in a number of tenders and restructures of several large group arrangements. Matthew heads the pricing team, which produces reinsurance quotations for clients, and has given a number of presentations on Swiss Re's research into the impact of pandemics on the insurance market. In 2004, Matthew joined Swiss Re in Australia after moving from the United Kingdom. His extensive experience of the UK and Irish reinsurance markets was forged through diverse roles. In addition to four years with Swiss Re in London, Matthew worked for Gen Re and, later, Scottish Re as Marketing Actuary, focusing on business development and acquisitions. Matthew holds a Masters Degree in Physics from Oxford University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (UK and Australia).
